I started at Trinity Fitness under the guidance of C.C. Matthews a little over a year ago. Since I began I have made so much progress in my physical appearance and my strength.  Not only does C.C. train his clients but he guides you and shows you how to incorporate nutrition, lifestyle changes and other aspects of physical well being to get the results that you are looking for. He is a very committed and motivating trainer. He never settles for less than best. It is just as important to him that you achieve your personal goals as it is to you. I have personally lost exactly half my body fat in addition to losing many inches. When I started at Trinity Fitness I had some minor health issues that have now completely cleared up. img jennifer Success Stories Wow! What can I say about Boot Camp at Trinity Fitness? I have to admit I was a little skeptical about something entitled “Boot Camp”. However, since day one of Boot Camp I have been nothing but thrilled to wake up and workout with CC Matthews and my newly acquainted friends. After my first boot camp, I have learned so many new exercises that have stirred muscles I didn’t know I had! The biggest change for me has occurred in my arms, hips, abs and facial features. I feel much leaner and firmer. My energy level has also seen a significant boost. So, whether its interval training with weights or cardio, I look forward to every morning’s new adventure. I tried different yo-yo diets, working out on my own, and even went to diet clinics. The weight that I lost, I eventually gained it back and more. img pam Success Stories Since being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis over 10 years ago, I had given up on exercise. A friend talked me into trying CC’s boot camp.  I was concerned that because of my limitations, I would not be able to keep up with the class, but after meeting CC,  I decided to give it a try.  He was extremely helpful and encouraged me to work at my own pace.  The boot camp sessions are fun, while still challenging. CC’s enthusiasm is contagious and the other women in the class are great.  I never thought I would be able to be fit again, but with help from CC I have just lost my 50th pound and am healthier than in my adult life!  The weight training has actually improved my joint pain and with my rheumatologist’s encouragement I have cut out most of my medications.  I would encourage anyone to try boot camp, no matter your fitness level, weight or age.   Thank you CC!!……….Pam Lambert

After many years of an inactive lifestyle and unhealthy eating, I was advised by my physician that I was at high risk for diabetes and needed to make every effort to loose some weight.  Over the years I have been on again-off again with many different diet and exercise plans that I just didn’t stick with.  A friend persuaded me to try boot camp with her for one month–four months later, I’m still going.  CC has such a positive disposition and motivates me to keep pushing myself.  The workout is never exactly the same so I find it easier to stick with because each sessions brings on a new challenge–No time for boredom!  My energy level has increased and I am loosing pounds and inches.    Thank you CC for your motivation to help me stick with it this time!!

img michelle Success Stories Thank you so much for your outstanding program at “Fit4Life Boot Camp”.    I have increased my core strength and this has improved my running performance in some recent 5k’s.  In the past my blood sugar has been a problem;  I would have low spells.  But with the your eating program and accountability I made a point of taking in nutritious snacks and meals every 2-3 hours.  That has made a great improvement not only in my exercising but in my activities of daily living.  I feel better and can get through a day without dragging.My husband has also noticed the positive changes.  He can tell I have more energy and stronger muscles.  He is glad knowing I am eating and staying energized.  All of these changes since starting boot camp have been very positive and a move in the right direction for me.   I want to continue being part of this amazing experience. Lamenting the Problem

Like many individuals who have struggled with being overweight or obese, my weight problems began during childhood.  In fact, I’ve traveled up, down and around the roller coaster of obesity and poor fitness more times than any reasonable person would care to.

During my adolescent years, regular exercise and somewhat disciplined eating habits afforded me some measure of control over my weight. After high school and college, the rigors of my professional training and demanding work-life distracted me from consistent efforts to sustain my own health. Denial and stress made it even easier for me to surrender to the twin demons of emotional eating and sedentary living. The result was worsening obesity and poor cardiovascular fitness.   About two years ago, I reached a maximum weight of nearly 300 pounds. I was battling against ever more alarming blood pressures, a nearly disabling lack of energy, and threats of osteoarthritis and other inflammatory conditions associated with obesity.

Though I had tried earnestly, I could not escape the dreaded “yo-yo” phenomenon: weight gain, weight loss, then more weight gain.  Various diets, the same tired-old New Years’ Resolutions and many, many dollars wasted on health club memberships (often shamefully underutilized) were either ineffective or yielded no lasting results. Sometimes, I was demoralized to the point of nearly giving up, resigning myself to a melancholy life of obesity, fatigue, and poor health.  Still,I remained acutely aware of the serious consequences of failing to address these problems.  My anxiety gradually intensified as I understood how my fate and my family history (of Type II Diabetes, high blood pressure, and cancer) might actually be linked by my rising obesity (medical science is now elucidating the heritability of these conditions and their association to obesity).  Not surprisingly, I discovered that two of my primary motivations, fear and desperation to avoid illness and disease, were not particularly useful in helping me to persevere against my busy work schedule and a graduating sense of powerlessness and paralyzing inertia. It is always challenging to sustain a prolonged effort to accomplish any goal. And sadly, I’d proven too many times that, when left accountable only to myself, I found it just a little too easy to quit. Sound familiar?

Celebrating the Solution: Body Transformation at Trinity Fitness Studios

Perhaps by Providence, I had the good fortune to meet Mr. CC Matthews of Trinity Fitness Studios.  CC is a young man (though in may ways wise beyond his years) blessed with tremendous energy, spirit and vision.  His personality is a magnetic balance of optimism, ingenuity, confidence, and humility. His enthusiasm to help people improve their health (and by extension, their lives) is contagious.

During the past 18 months, with CC’s guidance and encouragement, I have lost 55 pounds of fat. By my own humble estimates, I’ve increased my lean muscle mass by at least 10%.  My overall cardiovascular fitness and strength have returned to levels I took for granted as a younger man. (This, by the way, is measurably verifiable- I can bench press more weight now than I could when I was an eighteen year old high school football player!)

As I see it, I’ve been able to achieve these results by exercising three principles: discipline, persistence, and hope.  Amazingly, the influence these principles are having on my life is not static.  Indeed, the magnitude of their influence increases as I enjoy more success!  Of course, performing regular vigorous exercise and eating a health-promoting diet are not always easy habits to practice. But these habits have given me more energy, a greater sense of well being, and a more optimistic attitude toward life than I’ve enjoyed in years. Even further (and this is what gives the word “transformation” true credence), I am no longer motivated primarily by fear and desperation. Instead, I am increasingly motivated by a burgeoning desire for a higher quality of life; a life with more energy, more vitality, more serenity and more restful sleep than I’ve enjoyed since the days of my youth. Most exciting of all, this transformation is just beginning! And since the body is not separate from the mind and the spirit (as so many of us have been trained to believe), I anticipate even more profound transformation in the future: improvements which heretofore I have sometimes considered to be out of reach.  Every day I am coming to believe that more good things lie just around the corner!

I’ll admit that all of this has come with a price. But I consider the money, time and effort I’ve sown into my relationship with CC Matthews and Trinity Fitness Studios to be a pittance in comparison to the rewards I have reaped.  Undoubtedly, this investment in my health will provide me lifelong dividends. In these uncertain times, how many of us can say the same of other investments like, say, the stock market?

So, dear reader, I implore you: Invest in your own life. Call CC Matthews at Trinity Fitness Studios. Do it now! Improve your future! You (and your family) have nothing to lose (except body fat) and everything to gain.  Regarding your individual goals and what you hope to accomplish, your most daunting limitation is you! And you are free to change!  So take charge or your life and claim the blessings you deserve. You will not regret it.

For over a year I’ve experienced pain in my knee, it prevented me from working out. I was encouraged by my physician to join CC’s boot camp. I’ve been with CC for a couple of months now. Physically I feel great and my energy level has increased. Now I look forward to working out. I have gone from a snacking couch potato to a nutrition conscious physically active person. CC is very encouraging and makes each work out exciting. He is patient with us and concerned that we perform each exercise correctly. He is passionate about fitness and consistently motivates us to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I am proud of my accomplishments and the pain in my knee has significantly subsided. When I began working out with “C.C.”, I couldn’t last more than 10 minutes at very basic workouts. In the time we’ve been working out I’ve noticed increased strength and stamina. His attention to detail is, in my opinion, unparalleled. We’ve yet to do the same workout twice, always fresh always challenging. His personality, although professional, is fun. Being a mother of three, I felt there was no way I could possibly have the time to join boot camp, but I was wrong. I was introduced to Fit 4 Life in May of 2008.  “Come on, Dianna – you can do it!”  Very encouraging words, but not ones that I really believed, until this year.  C.C.’s enthusiasm for his profession helps you to believe that, yes, you can do this!   Since January, I’ve gone from a size 22 to a 14, I’m eating healthier than I have in years, and this self-proclaimed “couch potato” even jumped on the trampoline with her kids this past weekend!  Yes, I can do it – with help from C.C. Matthews.
 On a Saturday morning around 9 a.m., my cell phone rang.  It was C.C. Matthews and he said, “I’ve been thinking about your workouts, cardio and diet and I want us to try a new approach.”  I promptly told him that it was 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning and that if he was thinking about my workouts and diet, he really needed to get a life!  He responded by saying, “this is my life!”  Truer words, never spoken.  C.C. lives, eats and breathes his profession.  He takes his clients seriously, and their progress and goal achievement even more seriously.  Weight loss is never easy, but with C.C. in your corner, you WILL see results!
